Black Friday 2021

Black Friday is supposed to be on the last Friday of November, but so many sales are already kicking off!

It started as a US-only thing, but quickly made the journey over the Atlantic to form a sales extravaganza for us in the UK. And as we all know, Black Friday is a lot more than just a one-day event — retailers are dipping their toes in the water with plenty of post-Black Friday price cuts.

This makes the next few weeks a perfect time for ticking off items on your holiday present list, and treating yourself to some tech upgrades. Right now, Amazon (opens in new tab) has great daily deals; Currys (opens in new tab) has a huge sale; and Dell (opens in new tab)'s got some impressive laptop deals to boot.

Retailers of all sizes are already wading and getting involved, and this month of sales looks like it's going to be a real treat!

Is Black Friday really cheaper?

Doubly so now, as inflation has driven up some of the prices beyond its initial RRP. To help spot deals that are actually deals, we've got some steps to help you spot real savings in the midst of a weak pound (opens in new tab).
